Scope:
  • Diageo Reserve is a well-established highly profitable business and a leading position in the SDX spirit business with a SOV of 40%.
  • Luxury is a segment that has been growing and will growth 32% for the next 5 years.
  • The Reserve business has been growing at rates of 23% CAGR in the last three years.
  • The present expansion and increased focus in Reserve business needs the active leadership of a relationship manager focus in building influencers relations, content generation, PR platform and right luxury alliances.
  • With increasing advertising restrictions and being influencers programs the most relevant for luxury brands it is important to give relevance to social influence. Be in the best events with the correct people.
  • This position is responsible for forging the successful coalition of all external PR agents and internal global and regional marketing teams currently activating Reserve Brand as having the correct social alliances with the correct brand.
  • Ability to manage the PR Strategy for the whole Diageo Portfolio, not only Reserve.
Responsabilities:
  • Ability to build relationships with key influencers and strategic alliances, penetration ABC+ social levels.
  • Possesses solid relationship with and knowledge with PR Agencies and influencers network.
  • Drives correct strategic alliances and partnerships that drive value.
  • Development of Brand ambassador’s career and Commercial PR.
  • Great brand manager and multifunctional relations to develop PR briefs and communication platforms.
  • Create, maintains and advances current relationships with key consumer, social influencers, customers and media for the whole Reserve Portfolio and Premium Core.
  • Day-to-day management of all incumbent PR, Influencer and Sponsorship agents, developing strategic and creative platforms through best in class execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10+ Years’ experience in Luxury Brand PR or brand management, 10+ Years of Media Relations experience (corporate, consumer, trade, on-line, social events),
  • Proficient in English
  • Demonstration of Successful people influence and PR activations. (awards/accolades)
  • Proven ‘track record’ of successful Brand Marketing Communications activation
  • Successful employment within PR agency (i.e. knowledge of agency fee/OOP, staffing)
  • Successful experience leading/directing multiple PR agencies
  • (Corporate /consumer).
  • Manage key contact and events
  • Easy management and influence of social groups, ABC+ socioeconomic levels.
  • Excels at media relations, collateral development, execution placement and M&E
  • Exhibits ‘white glove’ approach with keen focus to attention and detail
  • Uncanny ability to drive and deliver PR creative development thru 3rd party/internal
  • Possesses key strategic background: discipline structure, organization and management
  • Ability to translate respective brand strategies into cogent, robust Brand PR activations
  • Ability to multi-task and delegate is a necessity
  • Interpersonal communication, cultural sensitivities and persuasion skills are highly developed.
  • Possesses solid knowledge and experience related to striking strategic alliances, negotiations and relationships within the world of Luxury
  • Succeeds in fiscal and financial management
  • For this role we anticipate the percentage of travel to be <20%. Amount of travel will be dependent on the need of projects.
